This transformation has been marked by several milestones: the professionalization of the channel in the 2000s, the rise of influencers in the 2010s, and, more recently, the incorporation of technologies such as artificial intelligence and the adaptation to a world without third-party cookies. <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This growth is also reflected in the data. In Spain, investment in affiliate marketing has risen from 84 M\u20ac in 2020 to 250.9 M\u20ac in 2025, while globally, the channel continues to grow at a double-digit rate and is establishing itself as a key component of most brands\u2019 digital strategies. <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Beyond the numbers, the report highlights the factors that are redefining the channel. Among these are the shift toward more advanced measurement models based on <em>first-party data<\/em> and the need to move beyond the traditional <em>\u201clast-click\u201d<\/em> approach by adopting more sophisticated attribution systems that allow for a better understanding of the actual impact of each touchpoint. <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The White Paper also addresses key issues such as payment models, channel operations, best practices, and fraud control, as well as the legal framework governing the industry. In an increasingly demanding regulatory environment, the White Paper underscores the importance of moving toward a more transparent and accountable ecosystem that is aligned with consumer protection. <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In terms of trends, the document highlights the convergence of branding and performance (<em>brandformance<\/em>), the rise of user-generated content (UGC) as a driver of credibility, and the growing role of micro- and nano-influencers in results-oriented strategies. Added to this is the consolidation of Retail Media and Social Commerce, as well as the use of Artificial Intelligence to optimize processes and improve decision-making. <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This project has involved key companies in the ecosystem, such as ours <strong>, <\/strong>represented by <strong>Jennifer Parra, Affiliate Manager at HMG, the <\/strong>MIO Group\u2019s media agency. Our colleague has emphasized the evolution this channel has undergone over the past five years, during which investment has grown significantly, thanks to the trust and transparency generated by three factors: advances in technology platforms for measurement and segmentation; the openness of advertisers, which has fostered a more fluid dialogue; and the relationship between end affiliates, affiliate networks, and agencies, which have helped raise the profile of this line of business.   <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Jennifer participated in the roundtable discussion held during the presentation, sharing her perspective on the challenges and opportunities facing the channel in a constantly changing environment.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Affiliate marketing is entering a new phase, characterized by sophistication, transparency, and strategic integration within the marketing mix.
