That’s how Horizon came to be—an event where we were joined by major clients such as Pascual, MediaMarkt, Palladium Hotel Group, and Securitas Direct, who shared real-world success stories to demonstrate the concrete impact of AI on process optimization, improved data analysis, and the personalization of their campaigns. Showcasing Success Stories Together with Our Clients Each case study presented at Horizon highlighted a unique aspect of how AI is helping our partner brands achieve their business goals. Álvaro Cabrera, CEO of MIO Group, opened the session by highlighting the fundamental role of AI combined with specialized human talent—a view shared by all participants: technology is a powerful tool when integrated with human expertise. Each of the speakers shared their insights and experiences regarding the application of AI in their companies, highlighting significant results and lessons learned. Antonio Arribas, Head of New Business Solutions at MediaMarkt, opened the event by explaining how “Markt,” the company’s virtual assistant, has captured the attention of its customers, with 50% of website visitors interacting with it. This case study illustrated the impact of AI on digital customer service, although Arribas noted that there is still work to be done in developing soft skills—an area where human employees remain irreplaceable. In the hospitality industry, Antonio Andújar, Corporate Digital & MadTech Director at Palladium Hotel Group, highlighted that AI has enabled the company to leverage all voice interactions in its contact center. This comprehensive analysis, which was previously very limited, now provides key insights for improving the customer experience—an example of how AI can transform the quality and scope of customer service. For his part, Nacho Martínez, Digital Marketing Manager at Pascual, shared how the company has used AI to solve a major data challenge. Previously, Pascual relied on the team’s personal expertise to locate and analyze information from a large volume of documents. Now, thanks to AI, they can efficiently extract valuable insights—a capability that enables Pascual to make better-informed decisions and optimize its marketing campaigns. Creative AI for Marketing Content Fernando Lázaro, CEO of SuperReal, part of the MIO Group, led a panel discussion on the impact of AI on creative content generation. In his remarks, Lázaro emphasized that generative AI is a transformative tool capable of complementing human creativity. “AI gives you a well-structured script, but the emotions still come from the human touch,” Lázaro noted, stressing that creativity is “more alive than ever.” During this panel discussion, Alberto Zornoza, Head of Content at Repsol, explained how they have used AI to create images depicting renewable fuel, a product that is difficult to illustrate. Thanks to this technology, Repsol has not only been able to meet a visual need but has also succeeded in improving users’ perception of this type of product by addressing a complex topic in an accessible and engaging way. AI-Driven Advertising Efficiency at Securitas Direct Manuel Gómez, Lead Generation Director at Securitas Direct Spain, explained how the company has reduced turnaround times and improved the efficiency of its campaigns through the use of AI. At MIO One, we developed a library of more than 500 AI-generated images for Securitas Direct, enabling them to quickly create ad scripts and improve their conversion rate. This approach has facilitated the production of high-quality visual content, optimizing the brand’s creative resources. A Competitive Advantage Through AI To close out the event, Esteban Granero, CEO of Olocip, spoke about how AI is helping sports clubs make more informed decisions about player performance, emphasizing that technology is key to reducing uncertainty and providing a competitive advantage. This pioneering approach illustrates how AI has applications across a wide range of sectors, driving both decision-making accuracy and operational efficiency. In conclusion… Horizon was more than just an opportunity to share knowledge; we also demonstrated the tangible value of AI when applied to strategic business objectives. We continue to work side by side with our clients to explore how this technology can elevate their strategies and help them successfully navigate an ever-changing environment.
